Website Terms & Conditions
Do you want to make it clear how your website can be used?
Its wise to have terms and conditions on your website because:
clarifcation of your rights in your intellectual property - a lot of infringement is due to ignorance so its much wiser to educate people about your rights;
limitation of liability - any sale via your website will form a contract, so its best to have a clear limitation of liability on your website;
confirming the governing law - if you’re offering goods and services overseas it is best to clearly state that any disputes are governed by your home jurisdiction, otherwise you may end up arguing your case overseas.
This template is generic and should cover most situations - like anything though, you’ll get the best results if a specialist checks that all your specific needs are covered. If you’d like to:
jump on a 45 minute Zoom call with us to talk through the draft and your business, our charges would be $450 + GST for our TermsBooster™ package which includes the provision of any changes to key clauses relevant to your business; or
have a bespoke set of terms and conditions created for your business, our charges would be $750 + GST for our TermsMaster™ package which includes a privacy policy for your website (if relevant).
